The Guff Vision
Private conversation deserves a place to disappear.
Guff is a small rebellion against permanent everything. It's a private, invite-only, one-to-one space for trusted adults to talk freely, share fleeting moments, and let them vanish without becoming a product-created archive.
What Guff is
Not another social media app.
Guff is not built for noisy groups, public profiles, followers, feeds, or endless inboxes. It is built for something smaller and more human: one trusted adult connection, private moments shared with care, and conversations that do not need to live forever. Some moods are fleeting. Some confessions are soft. Some photos, videos, voice notes, jokes, and late-night thoughts deserve protection from permanence, snooping, forwarding, pressure, and misuse. Guff gives those moments a quieter place, shared only with your trusted Gufaadi, protected by design, and allowed to fade when their moment has passed.
What “Guff” means
Nonsense is not meaningless.
In Nepali and English alike, Guff means foolish, empty, casual talk. Yet, this playfully vulnerable, beautifully random chatter only thrives within absolute trust.
That is the soul of Guff. Not every conversation must be productive. Not every private moment must be frozen into a memory object. Some things should simply remain between two trusted Gufaadi.
Product doctrine
Playful outside. Ruthless underneath.
Guff feels calm, warm, and human on the surface. Underneath, it is disciplined: content-blind delivery, GhostLock-governed ephemerality, protected viewing, metadata restraint, and lawful operation.
Built quietly
For moments that should not live forever.
Early access will open slowly, carefully, and with intention. Guff is not trying to pull everyone in at once. It is for people who still believe some conversations deserve a quieter, softer place, shared only between two trusted people, held for a moment, and then allowed to fade without becoming part of their permanent internet.
